No. Toto was played by a black cairn terrier called Terry in the film. Terry was owned by Hollywood trainer Carl Spitz. Terry made 14 films in all with such names as Shirley Temple and Spencer Tracy before retiring. She is buried at Spitz's pet cemetery in California.

In the book Dorothy of Oz, Dorothy Gale moves to Oz with Aunty Em and Uncle Henry and becomes a princess. She never returns to Kansas nor does Toto.

The dog died toward the end of World War II and was buried in a pet burial area behind the Spitz's residence and kennel. During the expansion of the Ventura Freeway in Los Angeles, the property was obtained by CalTrains for construction purposes. The facility and the small burial grounds were destroyed.Burial:

Carl Spitz's Home

Hollywood

Los Angeles County

California, USA

Plot: Lost to development of the Ventura Freeway

SO TO AWNSER YOUR QUESTION HE WAS BURIED IN HOLLYWOOD CA.
